Probably like most of us here.....I like the Giants tonight and here is why.

The Giants are my pick to win the NFC.

Kerry Collins led the NFC in Passing Yards last year. (A stat that many of you probably did not know) Amani Toomer was 3rd in the NFL in Receiving yards! Tiki Barber ran for nearly 1400 yards and had another 600 receiving!

I am not sure how these guys get overlooked in a city like New York but you don't here much hype about these guys.

The Cowboys on the other hand have Troy Hambrick who ran for 53 yards last week at home against Atlanta. The Boys do have a couple talented WR's in Galloway and Glenn but I can't rely on Carter getting them the ball.

The Cowboys will not be able to run which will force Quincy Carter to have to make some plays. Ouch!

Defensively, I think the Giants have one of the best units in the league. They have 2 Ends that can get to the QB in Strahan and Kenny Holmes. Their LB's are solid in Short, Barrow, and Dhani Jones, and their secondary is solid.

Dallas also has a decent defense with their strength coming from their Safeties (Roy Williams and Darren Woodson). However if Tiki gets going and they have to play up to stop the run Toomer and Hilliard could hurt them. Oh yeah they also have TE by the name of Jeremy Shockey! I'm not a big Shockey fan but if the guy keeps his mouth shut and head on straight he could be a good one.

Predicted score: 26-10

What are everyone's thoughts?

Thanks,
KMAN

Long time Gaint fan from ny I'd lay off. Big Blue can play down to the opponet. The Tuna
is back he doesn't wear the pads but if the boys lose big it will be a long plane ride
the line is 7.5 and that half a point looms large. Big Blue's O line a little bang up
Kerry would love to wip Tuna's butt, that could lead to some bad passes, just to
much stuff going on to take Big Blue tonite

Thanks for the O-Line info. That could play a big part in this game. The Cowboys D isn't that bad, and if they get to go up against a couple of second string O-Linemen they may be able to neutralize the running game.

Sounds like a good game to pass on.

GL to all,

But tonight's game, public are laying heavy on Giants, will this game is a trap or something? What i see now is -7.5 giants, will it go higher? If the line move by half or one, I will go with the Cowboys. Giants have good Defense and offense. But anything will happen, cowboys may start another QB instead of Q. carter. You never know what will happen. And Bill Parcell, he might still remember how the Giants run the offense and defense. He knows. anyway, now I will go with the Giants still. GL to you all tonight.

Giants Oline is good, backups are better anyway, Coach Mcnally is the best.

GIA -6 on a buy for 15 & DALL +10 I hope on a buy for 8. And I hope it ends up like last night MIN-7 and CHI +11 late both on buys. Take care, low risk high return AD

DE NIRO Buying a 7 to a 6 is not good? and I only got +9 on a buy from a 8 1/2, I was hoping to get a 9 to buy to the 10. The most I buy is 1 pt. Perhaps you were thinking I'm buying mutiple pts., that would be very expensive. What I risked was very low compared to the return. Do the math it's all prime numbers I do not care about the teams. Plus if the Giants would have done what they should have done. Score a TD and put Dallas away instead they gave the game to Dallas on a silver platter. Maybe next time the Giants will not be so conservitive. They normally land in these situations like last year game 1 Thurs. night agaist SF right on the 3. Take care. AD

PS yes I did take a little beating on this one but it was very close and it really sould not have been that close, the way this game went the GIA sould have been crushed.
